How do we meditate?

  1. We need to sanctify our imagination
  2. Understand that to truly learn how to do it is to do it.
  3. Practical tips:
    1. set aside some uninterrupted time
    2. Position your body to receive.
  4. Ways to meditate
    1. Think about scripture. Imagine yourself in the narrative.
    2. Think about creation. What does it speak to you?
    3. Contemplate events through the lens of God. Ask Him His heart and His thoughts on these things. Is He sad? Is He mad? Don’t answer for Him. Wait to hear Him.

Set aside some time this week to practice.
