Join the women of TRC for one last celebration of the summer at beautiful Vallecito lake! We will be gathering for outdoor fun on Saturday August 3rd. Our main activities will be hiking and watersports. You can do one or both! Activities will be starting shortly after 9am. The hiking group will only be coordinated in the morning, but watersports are available before and after lunch break.
One group will be hiking the Pine River Trail, this hike is considered moderate to easy. We will park and meet at the Pine River Trailhead at 9:00am and head out from there at 9:15am.
To join us for water sports, we will meet at the lakeside below the Vallecito Lake Event Center at 9:00am. Activities include paddleboarding, floating on tubes, or whatever gear you bring for yourself and/or to share. We are able to rent paddleboards for $10, and have a limited supply of innertubes available for floating.
We plan to come back together as a group at 12pm to eat at the Weminuche Grill.

Bring Your Own: lawn chair, water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses/hat
There is a $6 parking fee per car at Vallecito, carpooling is encouraged.
Use discretion- There is no lifeguard on duty. We will abide by lake rules so enter the lake at your own risk.
