In this art class, we get to explore the powerful connection between personal testimony and artistic expression. The class provides a safe and supportive space where participants can reflect on their own life experiences and express them through various art forms such as painting, drawing, and mixed media. Through guided exercises and open discussions, we not only learn about different art techniques but also how to use art as a tool for storytelling and healing. It's a beautiful opportunity to connect with others, share our stories, and create meaningful and powerful art that reflects our unique journeys.
Our class is 8 weeks long and includes a final project that will be displayed at the church. The $40 registration fee covers the cost of the final project materials and snacks for the classes.
In addition, you will need to purchase an art supply kit from the Art Supply store in Town Plaza. We have worked out a deal with them to provide discounted kits for this class.
